Minnie Mouse Do-It-Yourself Balloon Column Step by Step Instructions

 No Helium Necessary   *   No Poles or Stands Necessary             Minnie Mouse column stands about 4 and1/2 foot tall when completed                                                                                                                

 

EZ DIY Instructions


What You Need: 

  • 1 Super shaped foil Minnie Mouse Head balloon 26 inch
     *      8 Polka dot latex balloons 12-inch
  • 4 pink balloons 12-inch
  • 4 white latex balloons 12 inch
  • 1 12-inch balloon for water balloon weight
  • Twistee balloons or ribbon for connecting balloons
  • Step 1.MAKE WATER BALLOON OR SAND WEIGHT 
              Select a 12 inch balloon
  • Fill with water or sand (water preferred)
  • Tie balloon to secure the water or sand inside
  • Tie a twistee balloon or ribbon at the knot of the water balloon.

Step 2:  Inflate the Balloons for Column

  • INFLATE (2) POLKA DOT latex balloons to 9 inches- tie them together at the necks.
  • INFLATE 2 MORE POLKA DOT balloons to 9 inches tie them together at the necks.
  • Join the 2 sets of balloons at the necks in order to make a set of 4 balloons, forming a 4-balloon cluster or clover shaped pattern.
  • Rotate one balloon from each set around each other at the knots in order to lock the cluster.
  • Repeat Instructions 1-4 for the next 3 clusters(If inflating with a hand pump, give the balloons about 22 pumps.)  

                 You now have 4 clusters of 4 balloons each. 

  • Blow up Minnie Mouse Head.  Tie a twisteeor ribbon to the bottom of the Minnie head balloon.

Step 3:   Assemble Balloons to form columns

  1. Attach the water balloon to the bottom cluster by tying the water balloon snugly to the bottom middle of the cluster at the knots
  2. Stack the next cluster on top of the first and wrap twistee or ribbon securely around the middle knots.
  3. Repeat Step 2 for each cluster until you have attached all clusters and tie the twistee or ribbon securely to last cluster.
  4. With a twistee or ribbon attach Minnie balloon head to the center of the column by tying to the middle knot.
